Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Install help

Hello I have installed atmel studio and visual micro. I can not see visual micro in the ide. I then learned that I installed Atmel studio first and I was supposed to install VM first. Does this matter? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall? Thanks.

Hi,

You can't install visual micro without first installing the ide that you want to use.

Visual Studio is the recommended solution because atmel has some issues.

One of the issues is mentioned on the visual micro downloads page just above the AS7 download option. It says that if you have a problem then install from within the Ide via Tools>Extensions & Updates

The release notes are always here
