Hi, in your tutorial I see that your charts have the Area draw:

how can I have my @Plot draw an area?

Thank you in advance!
Best,
R.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your reply.

I think that I wasn't clear enough in my post, my goal is to have the area drawn as in your examples:

Ok

Take a look at the settings window. It's not very well documented but the "Display" tab is probably the one to use for basic color fill.

This pic shows the Trigger tab selected but the settings buttons on the toolbar all lead to the same settings window with the tabs as shown below

Can you see the settings window or is it missing?

If we can;t work it out from the settings on the various tabs I will have to call on the chart doctor, a man called Heinz who implemented the clever bits Smiley

Smiley thank you for that, I do get the settings window but I don't get to make it anywhere remotely close to my goal  Undecided , that being said, there's no need to disturb Dr. Heinz as it's defiantly not in my critical path, just thought it looks cool  Smiley

BUT, if we are on this subject, is it possible to draw the lines not from the right end of the chart:

I just noticed you have the free memory report open. That is't the @plot.

Maybe there is some misunderstanding about what you have switched on.

Can you switch off the free memory report and also analog pin viewer if you have enabled them.

If you want to use the @plot command then please confirm what syntax you have used?

If you don't know about @plot I can point you to the docs.

It's very easy to create your own charts. The standard built-in debugger charts uch as analog pin and memory viewer do not have the color features.

Thanks

once again I've failed to communicate my point  Roll Eyes

I've used the free memory chart as an example (the right chart the one with the gap) my @plot chart is the one on the left side where I wanted to have the same gap as the free memory chart or for that matter as the analog chart, please have a look at the following short screen capture https://youtu.be/rcQlBVTi66w ;

Hi,
no problem asking me Smiley

You can set the chart's properties by clicking on the button indicated by (1) in the following image, then you can choose the chart type as shown by (2):

Thanks. I suspect the last question is how to get a gap to the right ☺

No, there's currently no such option. What would it be good for?

Hi Guys,

many thanks for your support! I can't believe I've missed that display settings..

re "What would it be good for?" it's just easier to read the chart data in real time, the same way you implemented it in your charts (free memory and the analog values), in any case its just a cosmetic thing  Smiley

Cheers,
R.
