Are they not already? Have you tried? Do you have a verbose compiler out of a problem?

I have not tried. Smiley I just did not see it mentioned anywhere so I was not sure the status. I am looking forward to trying it when I get my boards from the Kickstarter next month!

Thanks,
Brent

Hi,

Visual Micro reads the Arduino and OEM hardware configuration files. They all work to the published Arduino.cc 3rd part hardware standard so in a perfect world the hardware will work without change to visual micro.

Obviously the world isn't always perfect because the arduino standard is maturing all the time and some features such as debugging can often require a slight config change for new architectures.

So please do report back after you try it. Any problems will be easy to resolve.

Thanks

Hi,

This thread wasn't discussing debugging it was a question if building and uploading for Teensy 3.5/3.6 was supported.

My understanding is that Teensy doesn't support hardware debug yet but it's changing fast so please let me know if you find that isn't the case.

Maybe you can ask on the pjrc.com forum and let us know the answer?

In the meantime you should be able to use the Visual Micro software debugger if you have a com port configured.

Thanks

It will be interesting to find out if they are jtag or swd etc. Maybe a Segger will work.
