Can't find VM Boards Manager on VS2013

(Registered VM 1.1507.05, VS 2013)
I've been running VM for a year with no problem.

Now, I've upgraded to the latest ide (1.6.11). Through Arduino IDE, I added the Adafruit Contributed Boards (for the AdaLogger Feather 32U4 uC) and new toolchain.
Using the Arduino IDE, compiling, loading, serial port all work fine with not errors.

However, from VM I can't find the new boards. I searched for the VM Boards Manager with no luck. All the forum messages about this are at least a year old and the menus have all changed. For example, one solutions starts with 'go to the VM Explorer by clicking the icon on the VM toolbar'. But there isn't an icon for this & I can't find VM Explorer anywhere.
How do I get to the Boards Manager?

I'm also having trouble with the tools chain. Shouldn't VM pick this up from the ide config? Or do I have to manually configure it?
All suggestions appreciated.

Hi,

I am uploading a new release in a few hours.

It turns out that arduino 1.6.11 has started to use its own .json file from its own ide folder and seems to delete the one that was in the userdata\localarduino15 folder.

This effectively causes visual micro to think there is no board manager config and also means it can't find the tools.

Fix shortly

Okay there is a new release that should sort it out I hope.

1.6.11 certainly caused some issues but the changes work towards better separation from the arduino ide!

Please let me know how it goes. If the hardware still isn't visible after update then please open board manager in visual micro. then click Rescan (sometimes twice).

I updated the IDE but I still can't find the boards manager. Can you guide me through the menu, maybe I'm just missing something.

It seems to load the boards now.
But when I try to upload I get the error msg that it can't load the Leonardo even though I'm using the Adalogger Feather 32U4. I tried several other Arduino types & got the same msg. It is also picking the wrong serial port and keeps showing Teensy USB com ports.

When I upload with the Arduino IDE it works ok.
