Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

List of VM shortcut keys?

Is there a list of default VM shortcut keys? I have found a number of them in the docs for debugging, but probably not all. I particularly want a shortcut to the View Port Monitor. It closes as I move between projects, or close and open VS. 

In the latest version of VM, its been moved down one menu layer to vMicro\upLoader\View Port Monitor making it even more inconvenient to start.

Latest testing with Arduino 1.6.12 and Teensy 3.6 - works great!

Hi,

Thanks for the post.

Visual Micro does not create any short cut keys. The keys mentioned within certain documentation are standard Visual Studio keys/features.

You can assign your own short cut keys to Visual Micro commands using the "Tools>Customise"

For the Port monitor you can also show the "Micro Communications" toolbar

Finally, the serial window should not hide when switching between projects. Can you show a screen image of it open prior to it being hidden by switching projects? Are these multiple projects in the same solution or different solutions?
