Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Cannot Open Project (SOLVED in 1701.19 Sp1)

Hi Tim,

I have just updated vmicro from 1609... to 1701.19 and now I cannot open any of my projects.

The vmicro menu options to "Open Existing Arduino Project" and New Arduino Project" do not do anything - nothing.

The vmicro menu now shows blanks in both the ide and boards drop downs and the normal vmicro options 1 thru 8 are not displayed at all. 

I have tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling the update but nothing helps me.

Fortunately I have been able to go back to 1607.22 from your onedrive archive and everything seems to be back to normal.

I am using VS2015

Any ideas?

Same for me - it looks very broken  Cry

And I just went to see if I could download and install a previous reléase but the latest is from August 2016...

I replicated the issue on a clean VS and have release an update. A couple of references needed to be set "to use any version"

It works okay on my clean test now so please try 1701.19.1
