After todays update to Release 1707.30 - 30th July 2017:

Got this Message after todays VSMicro-Update (using empty sample) :

Code
Select All
....

Building variant ...

Building core ...
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\tools\avr/bin/avr-gcc" -c -g -x assembler-with-cpp -flto -MMD -mmcu={build.mcu} -DF_CPU=16000000L -DARDUINO=10803 -DARDUINO_AVR_NANO -DARDUINO_ARCH_AVR -I"C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\cores\arduino" -I"C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\variants\eightanaloginputs" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\cores\arduino\wiring_pulse.S" -o S.o"
Error compiling core
Build failed for project 'Test'

error*: strange device name {build.mcu} after -mmcu=: bad character[/size] {

Verified a blink-sample in Arduino-Ide: Board and Port weren't initially set after VSMicro-update.
Correcteted  but this error reappears for Compile.

Board is set to Arduino NANO and Serial port is set correctly.
Rescan libs and setting IDE-location done.

"{build.mcu}" to be configured?

regards
Juergen

Thanks very much, please try to blog and tweet when time allows. The project is being killed by lack of noise from the many users, everything helps.
