Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Visual micro disappear from menu

I try to use Visual Micro with Blend for Visual Studio 2017. First things were correct but then all menu items related to visual micro was gone. Then I updated Visual Studio and got Visual Micro back. Then it was gone again and I updated Visual Micro but still it doesn't appear in the menu. This is not a problem in Visual Studio 2015.

Hi,

Blend is not Visual Studio so Visual Micro will not appear.

When you install Visual Studio is installs both the Visual Studio IDE and another product called Blend.

Look for the Visual Studio short cut and open the IDE. Does Visual Micro appear?

I do have the vMicro menu items as expected. This was confusing. I installed the product and got VS 2017 Blend and also VS 2015 Blend icons. In the first I occasionally got the vMicro menu in VS 2015 they always seem to be there. For me Blend and only VS 2017 appeared to be the same thing.
One question does the VS 2017 offers some benefits over VS 2015 with regard to visual micro ?
