Visual Micro with Proteus

Hi All,
I'd like to use Visual Micro with Proteus simulator, and wondered if anyone was doing this. Ideally I would like to have the .elf and .hex files in the same folder as the sketch/project files. This would also make it easier to use a programmer such as TL866.
I cant find anyway of setting preferences to do this. Can anyone help?
Steve

Hi,

Two options for this ...

1)
There is a menu item called vMicro>Compiler>Copy to intermediate directory

There is also a visual studio project property called Intermediate Directory

These two items give you control of where all the output files are copied to after a build.

2)

Many Arduino cores also have a specific export command which creates an elf or hex in the sketch folder. If your core has this command then you should see the file in your sketch/project folder. The name of the file is also defined by the core and usually contains the name of the variant.
