Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Can't get started w/Release 1808.30.4

Ok. I'm at a loss. I installed Release 1808.30.4. under VS 2017 w/C++. Couldn't start a trial version because I have no idea where to find the license key. Where is it? Pressed close and continued on and opened a known .ino file for a MEGA 2560 on known Com Port.
Pressed the Build Button and it reported that it had compiled and downloaded but it really had not done so. Closed Visual Studio and used the Arduino IDE to download the sketch. Came back to Visual Studio and the monitor shows but the compile button is now greyed out. What causes this?  Sad

Hi,

There isn't a trial anymore. The system has all features enabled.

Please post what you see when build and uploading.

A license key is only required to activate a purchase. Start trial doesn't need one.
