Can't change upload port

I've managed to hose up the upload port.  It is supposed to be COM10 - and now seems to be stuck on COM7.  I MAY have caused this - thought I could set the output from Serial to another port so i could upload AND see output on a terminal - NOT!

Not VM (VS 2017) will not accept any port change.  The desired one is shown - just can't get COM10 to 'stick'.   Undecided

Make sure "vmicro>upload>auto select board port" if off

It will always help if you state if debug or release mode is selected. also to confirm what settings you have enabled via the vmicro menus.
