Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

  • Board manager platforms > Version number parser improvement. For example version number "v2.5.0-beta3" will resolve to 2.5.03. Previously all chars after first alpha char were ignored, now alpha chars are stripped. (affects:- VersionHelper)
  • Moved message "Using previously compiled library archive" to verbose.
  • Intellisense fix: AVR boards that rely on specific #defines such as ATmega328P did not uppercase the "P". (note: The define is derived from the board.mcu and is only relevant for "ATmega" boards). The issue prevented intellisense for the Serial object when using Arduino Uno
