How to set a Hot Key for the vMicro menu?

VS2019 prevents extensions from creating a top level menu, instead Microsoft has moved the vMicro menu onto a new "Extensions" menu. To workaround this there is a new "Micro Menu" tool bar which contains only the vMicro menu button. This gives the same ability as in previous VS versions to easily see the vMicro menu.

Any idea how to set a hotkey to open this "Micro Menu" ?

vMicro toolbar -> pulldown arrow thingy -> Add or Remove button -> Customize -> Keyboard... ->  "Show commands containing:" = vmicro.     shows all vmicro commands which can have a shortcut attached - Great!      But I can't find the command to actually open the pulldown menu Sad

I will look into that thanks. The vs2019 change is a bit of a pain so the best layout is still being considered, feedback appreciated.

Out of interest, which menus are you trying to get too frequently when you use the vMicro menu?

Please try this update to see if Alt+O drops the vMicro menu.

It can be a risk of unhappy users adding short cuts and hot keys. The O seems to be relatively safe?

You might find it easier to use the CTRL+Q > vmicro > command

Download 1904.24.12
