Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

How to find the vMicro menu and tool bars in VS2019?

Hello I installed Visual Studio 2019 and I can't find the Menu Tools. What can I do ?

Toolbars

If toolbars are hidden they can be displayed by right clicking the tool bar strip. You will see all the toolbars that have a name starting with "Micro". The Micro Boards toolbar contains a button that opens the "Micro Platform Explorer".

Menus

In vs2019 Microsoft has moved the "vMicro" menu to the new "Extensions" menu. There you will see Extensions>vMicro.

We have also added a new tool bar called "Micro Menu" which just contains the "vMicro" menu. This counteracts the change Microsoft has made and allows you to have a single click to see the vMicro menu.
