Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Debugging on Arduino MKR 1010 WiFi

What's the recommended method for debugging with the Arduino MKR 1010 WiFI? I've used debugging successfully with other Arduino variants but compilation fails dramatically if I try to make a debug build for this board. Is it possible at all?

Debug should work but it migth depend what options you have set. Please always follow the request in the yellow box at the top of this page when reporting build and upload issues.

You're right, I think the message I got about debugging is a red herring, the non-debug build doesn't work either. I seem to have wider issues with my build environment because right now I can't even get File/New Project to work correctly. Belay the question about debugging for now.
