We are aiming for the next couple of weeks. You have to use Arduino 1.8.9 or below (or the NoIDE option) in AS7 at the moment.

Summry: Arduino 1.8.10 won't work in as7 with Visual Micro unless deep search is disabled

There is an update (v1910.12.0) for Atmel Studio 7 in the new releases section of this forum. The update contains all fixes and additions posted in the release notes since July.

This release also removes a reliance on an arduino ide config file that caused Visual Micro to break with Arduino 1.8.10.

In the not too distant future we will be updating the serial/net terminal tools and support libraries in similar way to the atmel arduino converter (similar to shared projects in Visual Studio). There will also be facility for shared cores.
