Hello, for my senior project (small part of it) I need to do a simple stepper motor movement and I’m having an extremely hard time trying to figure out the code for it. I’m using a 14VDC stepper motor that has 200 steps per revolution and a A4988 stepper driver. I want to control it with an Arduino Nano Every. I have the electrical connections all set out but the logic isn’t there. What I need to happen; when the input pin is pulled low, I need the motor to turn about 1/3 a revolution and stay there until that same input is pulled high. When the input is pulled high, I need it to return to its original position. It sounds so simple but apparently I can’t wrap my head around it. I should probably also mention that I’ve never programmed on an Arduino before although I do have programming experience. If anyone can link any resources or lead me in the right direction, that would be awesome. I’ve been scouring the internet non stop for two days and have come up empty.
