COM port will not stay set with multiple projects

I have a solution with two projects. Each project is for a separate Uno/RF24 shield; one is a mobile device and one is a base station. I'm trying to configure each project with their respective COM ports, but it seems that the project properties set the port for both projects. For example, I set the mobile board project's Upload Port to COM12, go to the base station project's properties and change it's Upload Port it to COM11. I go back to the mobile board project and it's Upload Port is now COM11 too. I set it back to COM12 and now the base station's Upload Port is COM12 too! Is there support for working with/monitoring two separate boards on different COM ports at the same time?

This might be some confusion related to how visual studio works. Notice that the code that is active can be from a different project to the active project in the solution explorer. Visual Micro offers some control over how that works but the default configuration assumes the active project is determined from the selected code editor tab.

You should simply be able to select code from project A then use the toolbar or the vMicro menu to set the COM port. Then select code from project B and select the port.

Does that work for you?
