IDE 2.0 setting not sticking

New install
I set the IDE to 2.0 but it reverts to 1.6/1.8

I have Arduino 2.0 installed and Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 Arduino IDE installed.

Thanks in advance for your help!  Bill

The window you are looking is the place to tell visual micro where one or more arduino ide's are installed.

To select a specific ide for a project use vMicro Menu > IDE or use the apps list that shows on the tool bar when an arduino project is open.
