Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Linux required after updates

After installing the latest update 2024.223.2200 of the Visual Micro extension and after updateing to the latest version of Visual Studio, my STM32 F303RE project asks me to connect to Linux. This was not so before the update.

Since I cannot compile, I cannot send you the build properties.

In Visual Studio, the Visal Micro items like Arduino 2, the board type, port etc are no more displayed in the top symbol list of Visual Studio. 

When I create a new project, these items are also missing.

Please fix this problem soon, since I cannot continue my projects.
