Issue with updating libraries

Installed VS Micro a few days ago, and updated to latest.

Installing new boards works fine, but I find I get an error installing libraries, as follows example:

This happens to all updates.
The path is valid, right up to and including the \xtf5...... folder.
I have to download zip manually and copy to the library folder.

PS. Yes, my Arduino IDE is in 'portable' mode hence the \portable folder.

Thanks for the report.

From the logs on other posts the portable folder is within the Program Files (x86) folder, which often needs administrator permissions to write to.

If you load Visual Studio as an Administrator, does this resolve the issue when trying to install libraries from the Micro Explorer?
