Debugger licensing

I am about to start using the debugger; it looks very powerful. On reading the “how to”, I see references to the debugger being part of VMicro Pro, use it free for 30 or 45 days(depending on which screen I’m on) then buy a licence as an “extension” to VMicro.
I don’t have “Pro” yet the debugger seems to be installed and working.
Can you please clarify what is the deal with the serial debugger (and possibly the other forms)?

The software is now all the "Pro" version which is older terminology I need to correct, so thankyou for pointing this out.

All Trials are for 45 days, and include all features of the software in their entirety (GDB Debugging, Serial Debugging etc).

Once the trial is over a license needs to be purchased, which is available in either 1 Year (no auto-renew) or Perpetual versions.
