Serial monitor persistence

When I used Eclipse for my Arduino development the contents of the serial monitor window did not disappear each time I programmed the board.

I found this very useful when comparing debug output from different versions of the program.

Would it be possible to have the serial monitor in Visual Micro preserve previous output?

Just wanted to thank you for all the serial monitor fixes. They're great and a real help. I've been making extensive use of the persistence feature the last few days.
