Thanks for buying the license and sorry you are having this problem and thanks for such a clear report.

If you don't get this working your money will be happily refunded.

With the key you purchased our server registered 6 activations for the same machine. This means that a lot of the activation process has completed.

There are many hundreds of people who activate the product every week yet this is the third report we have had of a problem like this. It is puzzling but I have a few questions:-

1) Are you activating via tools>options>visual micro with all project/solutions closed? or when attempting to switch on (Micro Debug) via a projects properties?

2) If via tools>options then are you pasting the key directly into the license key property or by clicking the button on the license key property that open the "License Key/Start Trial/Buy" dialog?

3) What does it say in the property below the License Key in Tools>Options? The license status?

Yes thanks, I was being thick and didn't read your post properly. It's typical that writing a trace message causes a crash after so much other stuff has happened without issue
