Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Unable to install Visual Micro on Win 8.1 Surface Pro 3 i5 with VS 2013 Ultimate SP3

Visual Micro ROCKS!  However, after a few months of happiness, I tried to add Visual Micro to my Surface Pro 3 running Version 12.0.30723.00 Update 3, so a lot of new things here.

I get the error 1001: InstallUtilLib.dll: Unknown Error when I do the basic install from the download Visual Micro.  I have the MSI installation log and have attached it.

I have Visual Micro installed and functional on a Lenovo Twist with Visual Studio Update 2 no problem by the way.

You can probably enable .net3.5 via control panel
