still missing installutil.dll for Xmsi to work !

I cannot install VM using X.msi file Missing installutil.dll. I recall there was some weird requirement - to have old version of .net or something like that, but I forgot what.
Running XP.
It won't  install directly from this site nor as a Add on in VisualStudio.

I've read a lot and heard a lot of it was absolute nonsense, but I have no idea what this person wants ...

For a person who reads a lot I have attached a picture.
Now to make it clearer, I hope.

Where do I get the missing dll from ? Which application / source ?  I sure would like to install VM in VS.

Is that clear now? Or do you need UTube video?
PS If you still have no clue what I am talking about do not waste yours and mine time broadcasting it, who cares if
you don't have the answer.
CHeers and have a nice day Vaclav

Thanks Tim, I just could not remember what was missing.
BTW I got nowhere with my crasher.
Went few rounds with Atmel and the latest was XP complaining when VisualAssist was active ONLY!
It worked fine without VA active.
The Xp blue screen pointed to video driver , but it was up to  date.
Right now it is still holding on different PC. Go figure.
Thanks again for your past help.

Hi,

If you can post informative errors then it saves everyone who tries to help you a lot of time. the Error 1001 is what we needed to give a simple answer. Thanks!

Great to hear that you got to understand why your old xp machine was so difficult to use. I am pleased that the world has moved forward in the last few years and we do not bump into video driver and blue screen issues so often.

Also good to hear you are up and running with a different machine

best of luck
