Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Strange Error installing VM in Windows 8.1

Hi folks,

I am new here and with Visual Micros new, too.
But I cant install it on my new pc running Windows 8.1

The setup gets terminated with the error message I have enclosed  Embarrassed

Does anybody have an idea??

Searching for 1001 in the forum or on visualmicro.com should have given the same solution.

Thanks a lot for that fast answer.
I was shure having the .net Framework installed...
So maybe it is the wrong one...?

I`l give it a try tomorrow.
Sorry for improper use of search function.

Will do it better next time.

Hi,

No probs. We need .net35 for compatibility with VS2008 and older xp machines
