Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

I have the same problem with VS 2008 Professional. No Configuration Manager will popup after installing Visual Micro and start Visual Studio. Is there another way to awake it?

Hi,

I have moved your question to a new thread because the other thread was about the new visual studio 2015 which is different.

Visual Studio 2008 pro and above should work fine. Visual Studio express versions do not support addins or extensions.

However Microsoft have release Visual Studio 2013 Community which supports addins and extensions and is free.

Which version of visual studio 2008 do you have?

Thanks for your fast Response! It is the VS 2008 Professional Edition: Version 9.0.21022.8 RTM. It works for years with C# and today also with C++. The Visual Micro Utility "MicroManager.exe" with its Reset has also no effect.

What should happen is that after installing visual micro you must then start visual studio and visual micro should load.

Please restart your pc then open visual studio and confirm if you see 'Visual Micro' in "Tools>Addin Manager"
