Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

AtmelStudio 6.1 + VisualMicro 1.1412.10 cannot find Atmel.Studio.Services.Interfaces 6.2.

Just updated to the latest VisualMicro version and am now receiving the error below when attempting to compile an existing sketch or when attempting to create a new sketch project.  I tried uninstalling and re-installing VisualMicro.  I saw Atmel Studio 6.1 was supposed to still be supported but maybe this error means it is not.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Atmel.Studio.Services.Interfaces, Version=6.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d264112969646cc9' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
File name: 'Atmel.Studio.Services.Interfaces, Version=6.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d264112969646cc9'

Hi,

I have a ticket raised with Atmel. 6.1 is currently an issue, sorry.

Hopefully fixes early in the new year but 6.2 is okay if you have a spare month to install it Smiley
