Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Cannot view micro boards in Visual Studio 2013 Profession!!1

I have installed Visual studio 2013 profession and Visual Micro and Arduino IDE 1.6.0.  I can see micro apps and serial ports and the micro boards box is blank! Any idea how to make micro boards visible? 

Additionly, i have configured the arduino ide localtion, but in the tool->options->visual micro, the "Application Ide Locations" item also is "Click to configure Ide locations".
Please help me, thanks!

P.S: i'm sure that the Arduino IDE's version is 1.6.0 and the boards list are empty! i'm not a english nation preson, my english is pool!

Before a few minutes, i unistall the arduino ide 1.6.0, then install the arduino ide 1.0.5-r2, resulting it is working. i'm very amazing. anybody who can explicate it?  thanks!

Hi,

Did you install 1.6.0 or 1.6.3 (which is the latest)

If 1.6.3 you will need the beta of Visual Micro from our downloads page

If 1.6.0 then you needed to ensure you used the "Arduino 1.6" option in Visual Micro

I install latest verison is 1.6.0 and I have seclected the "Arduino 1.6" item in Visual Micro. However it don't work!
In the Visual Studio 2013 Professional, the Micro boards list also are empty.

Hi,

There is some confusion because the is no 1.6.0 only 1.6.3

I need these questions answered please

1) When you run the Arduino Ide what text is shown in the title bar?
2) In Visual Micro, what is in Tools>Options>Visual Micro>Version>version?
