ESP8266 Issue (Read 2024 times)

	Using release 1505.19, I don't have the option to select an ESP8266 programmer. However, upload appears to work if you disable "Upload Using Programmer". I say appears to work, since my ESP-12 reboots every time I try to initialize my Dallas ds18b20.

	Hi, If you use the downloaded package for esp8266 via Board manager they have removed the need for the programmer and made the std. upload work. If you are using the modified esp8266 ide they still have the programmer options. In both cases Visual Micro does not control these features you need to ask on the esp8266 forum how their system works. It's a fast changing system at the moment because it is new and the developers are working hard to mature it. Visual Micro will read the config and perform whatever actions have been designed by the authors. Thanks
