	I'm pretty sure this option sends \r\n with your string when you press enter. Therefore I think the option should be called "Both CR & NL" instead of "Both NL & CR".

	That's a very good point. The only issues with changing it are that the serial monitor in the arduino ide says the same thing so their documentation also states it. The would need to be some shuffling in the code so that user who have NL & CR stored as their selection in the registry would auto upgrade to the new CR * NL setting. It's a minor thing but would need to be considered. Having said all that it's a bit rubbish the way it is
