Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

I cannot get intellisense to work

I'm seeing this in the status bar:
Visual Micro: *RefreshIntellisense - System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary.   at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key)  at ..

I've installed the latest RC of Visual Micro, installed update 5 for VS2013.
I've checked the extensions for .ino and is configured as recomended.
I'm using the 1.0.6 IDE.

One other thing that I hope is not causing this is that I installed VS2015.  Intellisense was working in VS2013 but I don't know exactly when it stopped working so can't say if VS2015 installation is causing the problem.

Thanks that's a bug that will be fixed over the next 24/48

Forgot to test 1.0.x in the last releases!

The beta/rc on the download page contains a fix for intellisense and arduino 1.0.x versions

Intellisense not working is fixed by switching to a different board and back again
or
If you are using the older Arduino 1.6.0 or 1.6.1 Ide's then configure the Arduino 1.5 option in Visual Micro
