Cannot compile the simplest project with a "cpp" file (Read 7906 times)

	I'm trying to create an arduino project with cpp and h files. As soon as I add code into the cpp file, I consistently get a "collect2.exe*:error: ld returned 1 exit status". The screenshot (VS2013) shows the whole program. By the way, compilation works with Arduino 1.6.3 IDE. Thanks

	Thanks for the report There will be an update shortly but you can switch "tools>options>visual micro>compatibility>compile files in project" = False Then it will work

	It should be suggested in "Tools>Extensions and Updates"?

	well almost, I see visual micro into that menu, but the only options I got are uninstall and disable. Thanks for that anyways.

	Maybe vs only refreshes the list every few hours. You can see the gallery page has the latest version 1509.11 which also can be used for install/update. It's the same ms system. https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/069a905d-387d-4415-bc37-665a5ac9c... But if you don't want to put cpp files in sub folders you don't need it
