	Hi, I have followed the documentation guidelines and I'm unable to stop on a breakpoint. Traces don't work neither. I used to be able access the serial port options button but now it's grayed out. Any opinions? See screenshot below for details:

	I can't see what configuration is selected in your image because it is covered with the Visual Micro menu. The debug options only show if debug is running. If you configuration set to Release or Debug?

	Hi, it's set to debug. I just created a new project from scratch, enabled "(Micro Debug) Full" and serial options button is still grayed out. Enabling tutorial mode doesn't create the default breakpoint neither. Thanks for the support.

	Thanks for the info. If you have automatic debugging enabled, which it is by default, then the project Micro debug property has no effect. It looks like debugging is not enabled so. Do you own a debugger license or are you in trial mode? The automatic breakpoint is only created when tutorial mode is enabled. The "Micro Build" output window will show if a debug or release compile is being made.

	Hi, I'm in trial mode. Micro build reports nothing about debug/release. See image below. The two visible breakpoints have been set manually (Tutorial mode is on but has no effect).

	Sounds like the trial has ended. Please see what it ways in tools>options>visual micro>application features>license status Thanks

	82 days remaining! Installed the software last week, Awesome software by the way. Breakpoints were working during the first day. In case that helps, see screenshot below for more info.

	Thanks for all the info. 1) What are you clicking to upload a debug version? 2) Please confirm that the following two options are empty:- "Tools>Options>Visual Micro>Compiler>Debug Configuration" "Tools>Options>Visual Micro>Compiler>Release Configuration" Thanks

	Problem fixed!! Than you so much. I was clicking on Visual Micro -> compile and upload instead of Debug -> Start debugging.

	Ah, yes actually there is an update in "tools>extensions & updates" which changes the behaviour of the upload button. It's a new button in recent version and that was a bug/design flaw. You can find the release notes on the "More" menu of visualmicro.com which shows bug fixes and might be useful in future Release Notes Thanks again for the clear reports.
