When I looked at it previously it was called spark and the local install was only half working.

It looks more mature now so I will take another look over the next week.

Thanks

Hey. Any updates on this?

Much have happened over there since then.
I think that now, may be the right time to revisit this Smiley
I'm considering maybe taking a look at it my self

Thanks!

Is support being added for Particle Photon?  Looks like this has been a long sought after feature.  The folks over at Particle sounded like they were interested in working with those at Visual Micro to make this happen

https://community.particle.io/t/best-way-for-us-to-support-visual-micro/10627

but that was months ago and I still do not see Photon in Board Manager... What's the hold up?

The docs say it can be programmed with the arduino ide so that means Visual Micro can also be used to program it.

OK...

Could you point me to some URLs or give some basic steps for how to set that up?

Hi,

You have to ask the board manufacturer to help you get it working with the arduino ide. When you have that working then Visual micro will automatically work.
