Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Hi.
This morning my symantec antivirus showed me a warning för a Trojan.Gen.2
Just wanted to tell you if there is a påroblem.
Symantec removed the exe file!
Attaching pictures of the info.

Thanks it is a false positive.

I thought Symantec was okay with it. One or two seldom used virus checkers have thrown up the error but it checked out okay for Symantec when I tested it on their site.

The warning shows because it is an .exe that doesn't have a digital signature. The .exe is used to upload web server files to the esp8266.

I'll have to switch it to a dll which is pain in the b..t Smiley

By the way is that the visual studio or the atmel studio 7 installer you were using?
