Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Unable to create a new sketch "parameter incorrect"

When I try to create a new VM project I'm asked for the name and then I'm presented with this dialog (image attached).

A folder is created in my Projects folder, and an .INO file created with the project name, but that's all.

VS2015 Pro (Update 2)
Ardunio 1.6.9

Hi,

That is an internal error from Visual Studio when it attempts to open a C++ poject and C++ is not installed.

Please install via "Control Panel>Add or remove programs>microsoft visual studio>change>custom" then select the c++ option
