Greetings,

Is there current (or planned?) support for hardware debuggers in Visual Studio? It looks like there's support for AVR devices in Atmel Studio...

I have a Segger J-Link that I'd like to use for debugging an ESP8266 project in Visual Studio.

thanks

Hi,

We have a gdb option in visual studio for various boards. Only a few are standard other you have to add the correct settings to support.

Some info here

Visual Micro comes standard with simple OTA/UDP (or serial) debug that doesn't need any config.
