Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

OTA for esp8266

Hi, I note that in the latest release there are new features for OTA debugging. I've looked at the OTA guide at http://www.visualmicro.com/page/esp8266.aspx , have installed Apple Bonjour and loaded the example OTA sketch from https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino/blob/master/libraries/ArduinoOTA/examples/Bas... . 
The ESP has been discovered and is listed in the COMport list.
But when I try to uplod a new sketch using OTA, I'm getting
Quote:
Uploading 'esp8266-dht' to 'Adafruit HUZZAH ESP8266' using '192.168.1.104'
The system cannot find the file specified

Have I missed something?

Hi,

If the latest release of visual micro doesn't fix it then switch on vmicro>compiler "verbose" and "show build properties" then try the upload and email the output as a .txt file to info[at]visualmicro.com
