VM1801.14 system exceptions managing libraries and boards

I have been using Visual Micro 1711.19 with VS2015 and Arduino 1.8.5. I also have the ESP8266 2.4.0 board installed.

This morning I upgraded VM to 1801.14.

After upgrading Visual Micro wouldn't see any boards. When I go into the Visual Micro Explorer I get errors loading package index files. It happens when I go to both manage boards and manage libraries.

When I change the IDE from Arduino 1.6/1.9 to Visual Micro I get similar errors.

I have tried reinstalling Visual Micro. Removing the ESP8266 folder in appdata\local\arduino15. Reinstalling the Arduino IDE and moving my custom libraries.

If I uninstall the 1801 extension and rename the pkgdef.deleteme  and vsixmanifst.deleteme files in the old extension folder the previous version works just fine

I've attached screenshots of the errors.

Thanks,
Alan

Thanks for the reports. An interim update with previous stable release has been published while it is investigated
