I had some issues updating to the latest version:

- I got a VS update notification
- update did not work with some error. It was not even scheduled because some dependency.
- I went to the download page and downloaded via the button
- This worked, but all vMicro menus are dead now. Dropdowns are empty.

I attached some screenshots.

Any idea?

Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise 2017
Version 15.8.4
VisualStudio.15.Release/15.8.4+28010.2026

IF I RE INSTALL 1812.22 is works fine,

well other than ESP32 SPIFFs, obviously, which is what i was looking for

This was a Microsoft vsix creation bug that caused some Visual Micro program files to be missing. The problem is resolved in the 1902.15 release that has just been published to the gallery.

Easy install via "Tools>extensions and updates>updates"

Thanks for the report.

Thanks again for the post. For some reason the gallery allowed the download but inside the IDE failed. Rebuilding the install using a later version of visual studio resolved the issue. Hence the 1902.17 update.

For future reference this is the gallery page that "tools>extensions and updates" provides quick access too
