	I have 2 requests for the serial monitor. Support ANSI color / terminal escape sequences. Using e.g. putty to monitor the output allows coloured output to be easily seen while using and debugging code, but requires closing / opening to re-program. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4842424/list-of-ansi-color-escape-sequences Performance - the serial monitor windows in Visual Studio / Visual Micro seem to be fairly poor performance wise.

	Thanks, yes the serial monitor is being redeveloped to a similar system to putty along with some extra bits. It's difficult to know exactly what part of performance you are referring too. Can you explain a bit more and also confirm you are testing with Release and not Debug mode? Thanks
