Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Hi,

After trying the free trial, I tried to install an updated version using Extensions and Updates.  Following "successful" installation the following problems appeared:
1. Package did not load message when launched the VS 2017.
2. When trying to create and build new Arduino project, the get the following error MSB4018 following installation of the visual micro. This error appears also on any other Arduino projects.

Please advise'

This usually means you have not updated vs2017 for a while. The changes this year to support vs2019 required microsoft to update 2017. Click Help>Check for updates then try to install again.
