Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Can't install vMicro using Atmel studio7 extension mgr.

Hi, Yesterday installed ATMEL studio 7 on new W10 system.  MicroChip's extensions gallery servers seem to be down.  So, can not access vMicro extension through MicroChips web site.

I see the note on vMicro download page, saying: 'ATMEL studio 7 users, install the the vMicro extension through tools/extensions.'  Since this is not possible while MicroChip's servers are down, is there a way to install the extension from my desktop?

I did download the MS VISIX(?) file from vMicro website but when I click on the file, error says 'can not find a compatible product'.  I guess it means VS15 is not compatible with the file.

I do own a license for vStudio.   Thanks.
