Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Is vMicro still free for personal use?

I've used vMicro for a few months and it used to be free as long as you would close the pop-up prompting for registration.

A while back I've tried vMicro in 2019, and the UI wouldn't show up properly, so I've stayed with 2017 with no issue until today, when I've updated VS and all options are grayed out. Same happens in 2019. Check the attached picture.

Is this a bug or is no longer free for persona use?
I see now a "hobby" price listed on the website, and that's why I started to think that. No message is shown regarding the license in VS.
