Visual Micro Update For Atmel Studio

Hi,
After installing a Pololu A-Star board my install became unusable.  I only have the download I got in 2016, after re-installing that I can't get VM to "see" Arduino 1.8, it only shows 1.6 which isn't installed.  Is it possible to get the latest VM for Atmel Studio 7?

Thanks, -Bill

Hi,

Tools>extensions and updates give you the latest vm version

The list should show 1.6/1.8 because they are both the same. There is no difference between the 1.6 and 1.8 IDE's
