Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Intellisense Errors with Teknic ClearCore

I am able to build and program my ClearCore with Visual Micro, but there are so many Intellisense errors that it is overloaded and I can't use Intellisense. Initially the errors were about being unable to find certain header files, so I added directories to the Include Directories, and that fixed the header file issues. Now I'm getting errors that I think are all related to this error: "#error directive: Unknown compiler" in core_cm4.h. I attempted to define the compiler as "__GNUC__", but that just created errors that "identifier '__gnuc_va_list' is undefined".

Is there any way to fix Intellisense?

Hi

We can add or give you info to provide better support for cores we have not yet tested. Please follow the guide in yellow above so that we can see the toolchain that you have installed.
