Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Odd message when installing library

Hi,
from the library manager, when I install a library I get an error as shown in the attached image. The library does get installed.

Thanks for the report.

We do not see this when searching in Library Manager, and the -master suffix implies this was manually installed from a GitHub repository onto your machine.

Manually installed libraries need to be managed outside of the IDE.

Can you confirm the GitHub repo the library came from so we can double check the improvements we have made to this area for the next release?

The error shown has been expanded with more detail in the latest release (23.0507.3) which is available from the top of the below board:

Can you try installing the same library with this version and send us the improved error message?
