Cannot create Arduino Library

Hi,

How do I create an Arduino library? I went through the wizard only to get a very obscure and non-sensical error. I've made no progress in months but would be good to sort out.

Many thanks
Pete...

Yes that is a very poor exception by VS. It always does that!

Install the C++ desktop workload (Tools>Get Tools). Microsoft use that for shared c++ projects. We will update the title of the new project template to make this clearer.
